"Makes its more ornate competitors feel needlessly garnished" - New York Times
rymdkapsel is a meditative strategy game set in space. Take on the challenge of building the best possible station by commanding your minions and exploring the galaxy around you. Imagine a strategy game where you don't have to worry about selecting units or mounting attacks on your enemies, but rather can focus on building the best base possible. That's what rymdkapsel is all about. "Rymdkapsel feels tailor-made for iOS in both form and function, and its elegant, subtle constituent parts nest within one another as neatly as its four-block tetrominos snap together along a space station corridor." - 5/5 stars, Joseph Leray, toucharcade.com "Some games nearly make me miss my subway stop. Some games tempt me to keep on playing them while I'm walking down the street. This is one of them." - Stephen Totilo, kotaku.com "The game punishes the greedy, and rewards the prudent. If you’re attentive, you’ll notice that there’s actually a happy medium between the two: optimal efficiency." - Ryan Rigney, wired.co.uk "Rymdkapsel combines spatial puzzling, tower defence and base-building into a brilliantly coherent and stylish whole." - Christian Donlan, eurogamer.net

Best game I've played in a while. Simple, but challenging, and the more you play the more you figure out the strategy. And it is super chill and relaxing. I usually remove game minutes after playing because they offer nothing new. I am hooked on this game, and it will stay installed for a while!

If you like strategy games, please play it. Just a wholesome minimalistic game, love it
- Joao Vitor Costa Percia · v4.0.4
fun and addictive, however I do wish they had some more missions, maybe another mode with more monoliths
- Tom Viele · v4.0.4
amazing
- Jess Madkour · v4.0.4
1st run, tutorial and building broke after 3rd msg (couldnt even begin placing). endgame is unplayable, over 20 growing enemy waves which return in 2 SECONDS vs SLOW AND RANDOM minions, NO PROPER PRIORITY, research does NOTHING (EFFECTS ARE INSIGNIFICANT FOR HELP), its SLOW too, its FAR, AND no more nearby particle fields... its just a really bad time killer by force, not by experience and choice of fun. you have to know the dev strat to win WHICH RUINS DEFINITION GAMEPLAY(its just a puzzle...)
- PoKéKiD · v4.0.4
Really love the graphics and how much this game taunts the brain to think of various strategies with each failure.Overall..really good game...so much fun.
- Riley Manda · v4.0.4
Pretty fun, but a few frustrating things really soured me to the experience. Firstly and mainly, the fact that minions will choose inefficient task orders/paths (despite using the "priority" command) has snatched defeat from the jaws of failure multiple times, and that's just annoying. Secondly, why does the zen mode not have the unlimited particle source option that the + mode does? If I choose zen mode, I want to have fun building and not be forced to run out of resources.
- Caleb Baker · v4.0.4
buggy bland and not worth it. all you do is research monolith and the enemy waves come too soon.
- Kyle Prince · v4.0.4
I like this economy, solo, space civ simulator, strategy game and it's cute and blocky design is just cool.
- EOP Johnson · v4.0.4
fast paced, engaging, great user interface! love it!
- Paty M.
how can you make a game so simple but yet so difficult. love the game and recommend it for those who like base builders mixed with TD.
- Stephen Irgens · v4.0.3
great defence build game but far to hard to beat beyond the 1st mission. no way you can build fast enough to beet the aggressiveness and qty of enemies. Developers need to add option to limit or control the enemy growth rate.
- Laurence Jervis · v4.0.3
I did one playthrough and had a fun time. Slow, straightforward, management game. I really enjoyed the ambient music. I like the minions they're cute. More things to do would be the way to improve what is already a nice one off time kill.
- Quality High
Really fun but gets repetitive very quickly. Really good tho.

Uninstalled for a lack of music / sound effect options. namely the ability to completely turn then off isn't available.
- andrew s · v4.0.3
I enjoy the multifaceted strategy of this game, but would enjoy it a lot more if there was an option to mute the sound. There is a way to turn off background music, but all the other game sounds remain constant and aplenty. Impossible to play while listening to music / podcasts at the same time.

I can't figure out how to play the game even while following the instructions. Hole Down is awesome, go play that.
- Dave Holls · v4.0.3
fire game tbh
- Ender
Needs a fast forward button, minions shouldn't be THIS dumb, Google play games not being logged in and no option to do it manually, needs challenge and larger maps. Enduring tediously paced gametime for almost an hour and realizing that this is it and that your first try was enough to pass all objectives isn't very fun... Opened the new game+ and the map looks not so different. I don't care if it is at least a bit more challenging. Another hour of painfully boring gametime? No thank you.
- Doe Ray Me · v4.0.3
I do like it, it's just extremely slow in the beginning. But once you get that speed up, you may lose all your guys to the alien attacks.
- Charles Peck
Short little strategy game
- Tri Dot · v4.0.3
Surprisingly good little game. 5 stars because it's a complete game and not a service pretending to be a game. If it looks interesting to you, you'll probably like it.
- Ignus Flamebringer
It's a fun relaxing game. Except for two things. 1 the difficulty ramps up a bit to fast. And 2: THE SALVAGE BUTTON IS RIGHT WHERE MY THUMB TOUCHES TO SCROLL MOVE AROUND. It's on the left hand side and every time I touch, and then go to move without clicking off. I delete the build. No" are you sure you want to salvage?," or undo button. Just gone. I like to plan ahead it have everything blue printed. But if i click on the wrong thing and scroll away, half my plans just disappear.
- Joseph Burney · v4.0.3
Decent game, but it doesn't really advance past the basic level. In a couple of hours you've played all there is to play.
- Greg Cornett · v4.0.3
Good for about an hour. Give it a go🤷🏻♂️
- Big John
Good game but has one fatal flaw that spoils it. as you progress through levels it's clear that minions choose a random objective/destination in the task that you selected for them. this results in a nearly unwinnable scenario every time I've tried to progress with different strats. (i.e. minions may take food to the furthest quarters, which prevents efficent resupply of minions). if this behavior could be optimized, or directable by the player, this would be a five star game.
- David Lang · v4.0.3
It's alright but moment to moment gameplay is largely free of interesting decisions.
- Rachael Naeva Oxley · v4.0.3
It's great. Perfect little tile-based tower defense
- Hannele Kormano
Great passtime, could use more levels and a tiny bit bigger UI
- Caio Lima Netto
Simple but genius, I always come back to this game and redownload it for a bit of peaceful fun. Feels like an undiscovered gem
- Benedict Sweet · v4.0.3
This is an excellent and atmospheric strategy game that has more depth than most people will expect. Really amazing stuff and I highly recommend it.
- Gary Napper · v4.0.3
Amazing but way to short
- Oh no M · v4.0.3
This is enjoyable! Would recommend a fresh time burner.
- Molly patterson
Love the idea, but the time investment needed to play the game is quite high. I understand you can tap out at any point and pick up at a later time, I just feel as if this style of game would be best suited for PC or console.
- Matthew Jones · v4.0.3
I've only managed to get to wave 30 so I'm definitely a noob but it was so much fun playing this game. I love the little doods and want to protect them at all costs :)
- Lucy Bell · v4.0.3
Wouldn't progress beyond title screen.
- Carl Bater · v4.0.3
Fun little game, the minions can be super durpy at times though.
- Stephanie Smith · v4.0.3
Simplistic boring non-challenging game where you lose only if you forget to defend. Also needs a fast forward and defend all buttons.
- Jakub Fojtík · v4.0.3
what's the rush? why did the attack bar getting faster and faster I can't even make my minion work in wave 20+, can we have explanation for each game mode like wth is zen and + feature, can you add like survival gamemode where the attack bar speed stay the same but the enemy is increasing each round and the map is infinite? it's a good game but i think a casual and relax defense game is better for this game.
- Bannnon 1379 · v4.0.3
Good idea, but bad tutorial and ai.
- Daniel Süpke · v4.0.3
Cool game, takes a minute to get into how to play but fun and challenging enough to keep you trying again and again
- Davy Tobin · v4.0.3
Trash game. Only 2 minions can be placed within one defense room. Defense rooms can't be placed within range of another defense room. Space worm effortless kills both defenders in a defense room then destroys every surrounding room. Who the hell thought this was a good idea?
- TheZombiesAreComing · v4.0.3
My favourite mobile strategy game of all time. The interface is a bit too large and sometimes I accidentally sell my sectors, but overall I would highly recommend this.
- Jack Stringer (Jack5) · v4.0.3
Not sure if Tetris mechanics can work well with resources based buildings management at all. You can even cancel unwanted shapes until you get the good one. Ui is clunky. Overall feels like achikaps clone with bad Tetris.
- Pavel Oliferovskiy · v4.0.3
The game needs a "defend all" button. Swiping each individual minion manually becomes a huge pain at later waves, and by the time you've swiped what you need, the wave comes so fast that there's no getting ahead.
- Toaster N'Friends · v4.0.3
The game has a good, have a challenge level, but for me the interface is very non functional and ugly. Doesn't have confirmation to remove a build. Change the way for position citizens, add buttons to add or remove a number of citizens in each function. Create a build to store resources, one a place to improve defenses. Drag and put the tile on your base and after you select the kind of build. Reduce the number of action by drag and information and text on screen, because it's not cool.
- Lucas Oliveira Jacintho · v4.0.3
A great game. Challenging, engaging, and time filling. No ads! No pay to play required. Great job devs!
- Kelley Bodell · v4.0.3
Works fine, a bit too easy way too short. Took me 4 tries to finish it. I see potential if more depth was added. I read several people complaining about the minions and yes they are very simple but if they would be smart the game would be really too easy. The Musik is chill and doesn't gets annoying. The art is aight. Something I didn't like was realizing that the best build looks pretty much like a swastika, something maybe worth to consider avoiding in future games
- Tobias Holmer · v4.0.3
Pretty good, but stops being fun and becomes a game where you need to rush a ton after the first set of achievements, without having smooth enough controls for rushing to be interesting. So overall there's like an hour of actual enjoyable game.
