I like most Rusty Lake games but this one was a bit different than past games. The White Door focuses more on telling a story than trying to solve puzzles, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. The bulk of the gameplay is just following directions rather than trying to figure out what to do. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's bad, but it's not their best (especially considering it's a pay to play).

it has a good storyline but the game keeps sticking .even after I paid for it it keeps freezing . i constantly have to close and open it and the puzzles are so random. please fix this bug especially if people are paying money.

Real weird and a ton of fun. Lots of strange ideas and a great story. It has so many trippy puzzles and loads of visual content. Super impressive, it felt like it was perfect in difficulty and it used lots of logic so it was playable without a walkthrough. The artwork was just right and the voice acting was flawless. It really gets you into the scene as the game plays out. Its not a very long game so thats a bummer because it was that good.

I really enjoyed this. It's quite a short game - it will only take most players a couple of hours. But it's atmospheric and well executed. The puzzles are hard enough to be challenging but not so hard that you're likely to give up or cheat.

Not the usually experience. I would usually rate Rusty Lake games 5-star but this one is more like a 2. Maybe the iconic era is over. Maybe it's this boring character named Bob. This one was way off the mark (and coincidentally, the most expensive one I've seen). The interactions were boring, the colors dull, the storyline forced. Having just played the train one I somewhat knew who Bob was but it didn't add anything to the storyline. Gladly supporting the creators but hoping the next is better

It's good, but a) it's a bit too hard to understand what's going on - I Googled at the end and I definitely missed some stuff, maybe might have made more sense if I'd played the other games; and b) the puzzles are good, but it's too puzzle heavy for me, I'd rather have more story and less puzzles.

I enjoyed this! The puzzles were challenging but solvable. I really liked the interactive parts, too. It is maybe supposed to be eerie, but I found the music and voices to be soothing. Perfect length - I played this divided up into about 4 parts, and to have an end was nice (meaning it didn't go on and on and had the dopamine hit of you finishing it.)

Rusty lake is fantastic

Ever since I played my first rusty lake game, The samsara room, I was mesmerized by the amazing graphics and plot. It is true that nobody does it like rusty lake and that the whole world should try any of the rooms such as, The white door, seasons, samsara room, the birthday, the paradox… and so many more. I didn’t need any cheats!

Usually, one game in Rusty Lake games are too hard for me to complete. Usually because they take pure creativity and there are no clues in the scene. This game had that, but I was still able to use my creativity to beat it. I loved the storyline and the artistic touch to this game. So beautiful and fun. It took me about 2 hours to finish (I had some interruptions, so I’m estimating.)

So simple yet so detailed

I’m a 33 year old mom and don’t usually play games on my phone, but Samsara Room happened to come across recommendations in the App Store and my kid was asleep so figured why not. I’ve now played almost every single game Rusty Lake offers, including the ones that cost money. I would recommend playing this one after the collection. It was interesting to see glimpses of the other games here and there in the story. This game is simply brilliant. Please keep the games in this series coming, I will keep playing!

Rusty Lake are hands down the best phone games I’ve ever come across. Excellent storyline that spans over the entire collection. Brain bending puzzles that are hard but not impossible. I felt a BIG feeling finishing this story.

I’m a new father of two. My three year old daughter was diagnosed with nonverbal autism and it has been extremely challenging for my wife and I. Often to a very close to terminal mental point with me personally. I’ve been going through a host of emotions I’ve never had before and I’m not self aware enough to notice them. When the events started happening in “The White Door” chapter of this game, I completed the entire remainder of the story with my face absolutely drenched in tears. I identify with the main character in a massive way, but for a different reason and the ending was absolutely perfect for me. I get it. Rusty Lake is the GOAT for this one. (Gotta get my composure back)

To everyone saying this RL game was short, that means you weren’t paying close enough attention to the intricacies that existed! From switching between YT and Insta and completing hacks, besides the basic storyline, this game took me 3 extra hours to complete because I didn’t want to miss any hidden details! If you have any complaints about how short everything felt, my best suggestion would be to go back and make an effort in searching for hidden achievements/levels

Addicting!

Once I found Rusty Lake i had to keep playing all the cube escape apps. Then I found this app. Had to try it. Was pretty difficult and I ended up looking up help for getting all the achievements. Definitely worth getting the game!
