This Is the Police

I was expecting this to be a casual build your character game but it's surprisingly (in a good way) plot heavy. The story is great and the gameplay even better. I have been playing for hours each time and had to force myself to stop because my eyes became tired. Still, I wish I could access the tutorial again instead of it just showing up once and then gone. Also would be nice if you can save multiple gameplay.

It's different in a good way. I like the time seting, no major gaming breaking bugs and overall an amazing story would recommend plus the magement aspect is fun.

The app stops making sounds! When I temporarily switch from the game to check a message or do something else, all sounds completely disappears until I restart the game. Also, when I turn on my headphones via Bluetooth, the sound disappears too—it's very frustrating.

A game which fails to properly convey its awesomeness. Apart from the gameplay, where the knowledge of many hidden mechanics determine your level of enjoyment, the story, art, music, and voice acting feel great. Also, as the game autosaves at the start of the day, there's no way to go back to a previous day. Only option is to restart the game. To new players: I urge you to read and watch guides to better understand the many unexplained features. It will transform your whole experience.

A game where you read a lot but the fonts are so tiny on phone with out the option to make it larger, I love this kind of game when done right, this one is garbage despite its potential, because adult will love this but cant read the tiny font size so its a total garbage, sorry for being honest but the font size needs to be adjustable

The team made a game and made it compatible for a mobile technically. But when I play it on my latest android, the texts are too small I could barely read. Liked the game, but it's unplayable since it's not optimised

Just a fantastic game, i played this and the second this is the police and i have to say that the second game is better, because in my opinion the game just flows faster and you don't have to play so many days in game, but really worth play this two games because in the two of them the imersive story is just incredible.

Great potential, but it's the same stuff over and over again, give a free play with more things to do with money, maybe purchase of equipment, vehicles or tech to help officers. Would be nice to team up officers, expand the city (district) hire more police etc.

The tutorial is too slow. Work shifts should've been explained before hiring. I was left not know what to do about police on a shift I hadn't worked with. I stopped playing at that point. Gaps in learning doesn't make for fun gameplay. Developers need to bring back game manuals.

I've tried to get into this, but for a mobile game its just too slow. When I play on mobile it's because I want a 5 minute quick blast. The slow voice acting is quite annoying. Yes I could skip the scenes but they have key gameplay information so you feel forced to watch them. The gameplay itself is good and interesting, and keeps you on your toes.

Unless you have perfect eyesight, don't play this game. I've never seen writing so small in the thousands of games I've played over the years. When I get my glasses in 3 weeks I will come back and play. Note to devs; increase the writing.

Played this for a couple of days. Got mixed feelings. Overall, it is great but it is flawed in some ways: 1. It forces you to be corrupt, so you don't have control over the narrative as you would think 2. The situation with the City Hall doesnt make sense. The more civilians hurt your budget gets cut and officers get fired. Thus, there is more crime in the city and more civilians gets hurt which leads to further budget cuts. If this was real, city hall would give more funds not less.

Despite the ridiculously stupid storyline and the worst written dialog ever, I absolutely love this game. I've been playing for years from way back on my PS4. It's about decision making and prioritizing, or plain old doing the best with what you've got. Some of the crimes you respond to are downright hysterical (must have been a different writer). Since it's a decision based game there is a replay ability. Very addictive fun.

Will prolly play this on my XBox instead. Seems interesting, and fonts in cutscenes are readable, but once in game, fonts are way too small to be easily readable on my phone. 🤔

I'm loving the Max Payne style of storytelling, but there are issues. First and most annoying one is a sound glitch. When connected to a bluetooth headset, the game loses sounds when screen goes black, which happen very often since you watch the game more than you play it. Fix this asap developers! Second thing is language. Hire a professional writer to fix that.
