I played the original Medieval II game on my PC when it came out years ago. When I set up my PC (currently not set up) I fully intend to buy the original game including the Teutonic Campaign which is my favorite. The app version on my phone is fine with the exception that it is difficult to command armies during battles on the phone. I have just been using the auto resolve which is OK- even though I would like to manually command them like I used to on the PC version. Regards, Joe

love it but, Please add you could auto follow an army when it's marching charging to battle the camera auto follow them. having a cinematic, auto-following camera watch your army charge into battle would be epic!

excellent port, a few rare major bugs however, some of them are fine but a few of them should really get fixed. overall you'll get used very fast to the mobile version, very solid and very fun, the ai seems more aggressive which is nice, its still a little stupid but yeah, great port edit: played like 50-80 hours and the bugs keep piling up, overall still a good experience but more than half a dozen game breaking bugs, many are fixable by reloading but others are caused by reloading...

Simply amazing. The only bad things are the bugs as when I try to attack a fortress and it doesn't let me sometimes and I have to redo it several times or I can't move the screen while I'm at battle and I have to repeat the battle but besides the bugs that can be a little annoying, it's the perfect strategy video game for mobile

the game is very empty, map wise. it is also ugly to look at. ingame manual battles are we done, indeed. but that's the only good part. this is no victoria 3 or mount and blade 2. disappointing. if more work is put into actually making this game strategic and entertaining. more people would take interest in it

truly the cream of the crops, it this the best. I heavily recommend to get medieval total war instead of empire. empire is good if you this like gunpowder and taking over the globe. and rome is this nostalgia nothing more. but if you want a game of depths and amazing battle. medieval total the goat.

for the first 3 hours of playtime its been a fun experience so far crashing and lag seems to be the issue with this game from what people have been saying but I have experienced literally 0 crashes just very minor lag and im running a phone with only 4 gb of ram,i also gotta mention the army controls can be difficult especially when its your first time but you get used to it as said only have around 3 hours of playtime so I'll be updating my review if anything game breaking happens.

I love this game very much and I suggest some ideas for your next update on adding more additional custom battle modes such as riots with the goal for defending your castle or either becoming them, only knocking down the entrance doors and defeating the reinforcements. Another one is putting leaders like Baldwin IV in battles just to recreate the battle of Monstgaird during the Crusades but please give the game more options soon!

for some reason pikemen lift their spears when charged in to or they constantly stand then kneel stand then kneel. if your defending a settlement against a siege alot of time the enemy units will knock down your walls but only a couple units will attack. the rest just sit there. and if you have archers on the walls they always move back a little so they have to fire up instead of firing down on the enemy making them way less accurate.
