Chimera Squad would make a great mobile port. PS: if you wanted a plot like Xcom Legends to succeed: you can't make an unauthentic "mobile illusion" game. You'd have to make a real "mobile video game". One with actual RTS elements, and no live service. Just make a small game and maybe add DLC to cover the extra content. And reasonable skins, that realisticaly fit with the plot's timeline and history, to cover for longetivity profit.

I have over 1,000 hours on the pc version of this game and I can say that the mobile edition did not disappoint. I would highly recommend anyone that will be going a while without Wi-Fi or mobile data to download this game if you're a fan of turn based tactics.

I have encountered a bug very early on, once I go to the bridge and start to look at the squad, the back button no longer works, leaving me stuck in the screen, so this prevents me from being able to edit the squad at all, I actually paid money for this game, as I enjoy the xcom games. Is this bug fixable or do I have to request a refund?

I see a huge progress in graphics and interface since I played it last time. Happy to see the progress. I also bought an original XCOM Enemy Within. But it disappeared from the store. And I'm very sad about it, because I spent money and don't have possibility to play it anymore. Is there any chance it will appear again?

Great port, very enjoyable but there's 2 things that I think you need to improve. 1st is the optimization. My device runs hitman absolution, grid autosport, company of heroes, and Napoleon total war smoothly. I can even run Warframe but Xcom2 is running on the lowest settings and still having fps drops. Hope you can fix it. Lastly, hope you can have the option to turn on and off the War of the chosen DLC. That is all, thanks for this great port.

The game by itself is tremendous masterpiece. Android port has questionable texture quality on larger screens, but only on terrain - even on quality setting. Character models are fine. Save synching for multiple devices works extremely extremely extremely poorly. like one propped sych out of 6. don't recommend playing on multiple devices. Removal of the x-com 1 from store even when ppl paid for it is a beef a wont forget.

Unbelievable port onto mobile. Played on Z Fold 7 and its as good as my Asus ROG laptop. Great to see some of the cool DLC in there as well. So much value in this game for the price. If youre on the fence - download it and give it a go!

I have just updated and uprated my previous review. Why?? Well firstly it's an amazing game. I can't add much to what others have commented and I am a huge fan of the originals back to the 1990s. But also to the customer service. I had only recently purchased the collection and the recent update glitched sticking on loading screen. I emailed the developers, got a quick reply, and ultimately they have fixed the fault.

just bought the game. same as on PC medium/low graphics, runs like a charm on my tablet. oh boy I'm excited, however randomly "issue with licence" pops up and game has to force close or restart. Unable to play more than 1 turn. Annoyig, was fine for 5-6 hours, now same issue. EDIT: I did submit a support ticket. Workaround - start the game with wifi OFF. worked for last couple of days. edit. devs got my crash report and fixed it. 5/5 port. no more issues, strongly recommend for xcom fans

Doesn't work offline. Bought the game before a long flight, updated it beforehand, logged into my Google play account. Then once offline, the game didn't get through the initial logo screen. And if you manage to get into the game and then go offline, it will restart because it couldn't validate a license. What a BS

Its an excellent port but it constantly crashing because I lost WiFi for a few seconds is extremely frustrating. Pros: The mobile controls are very intuitive, and I'm surprised at how well it runs on a Google Pixel. I don't normally bother with mobile ports of bigger PC games like this, but it genuinely is a seamless experience Cons: The DRM is infuriating. Having to exit out to the main menu, and in some cases losing 10+ minutes of progress, CONSTANTLY in a single player game is inexcusable

The port is extremely well done. The recent update got the cutscenes to HD, so that's another plus. I can't wait for the new Star Wars Zero Company! I kind of wish we could add mods here as well, but I think that's not possible, oh well.

Because it's XCOM baby.!! Sadly the tactical legacy pack is missing. Some of the qol workshop mods are included (overwatch all, evac all, gotcha again) which is great... Edit: when will you guys include tactical legacy pack dlc

In order to play this you need to be connected to the internet, this is not the case for pc and makes it really frustrating to play since the app will restart if you have a connection problem. This is why people resolve to piracy. Please improve your service to make it desirable than the pirated version that I'd assume to be better than this since they must've disabled internet check. I suggest the internet requirement to be disabled. Be better to your customer by not being obstinate.

This port is a ridiculously impressive achievment for cramming a 70 gb game on pc into 10 gigs on mobile. But it has some annoying features, like starting up on the wrong landscape side with no way of rotating it around. This was an issue since the port launched, why isn't it fixed yet ☹️ Edit: the orientation lock issue was fixed with the latest update, thank you Feral
