Mixed feelings because annoying ads. Great app. Fun to play, but too many annoying long adds and I I had to delete it. Adds forcing you to make more downloads and purchases and that killed all fun so I had to say goodbye. Don't have time to waste with adds.

Tired of all the ads in the game. Can't close them after they're finished, if they finish. Have to occasionally close game to get out of the ad. Get same ads over and over. Why does each ad have to be 3 pages long? One ad should be one page. The close spot is so small you get another ad if you don't hit it just right. This is really frustrating for someone who has a movement disorder. You could make the close button 10 times larger and it would not interfere with game play.

Super looooooong and unskippable animations make it feel unresponsive. Timed events where you watch the timer tick down but you can't do anything due to long animations, alongside endless pop-ups that interrupt your gameplay. Arbitrary dictionary - some words count for some puzzles but not others. some proper nouns count but not others. I want to love this game, but having no control over how I play (pop ups, ads, timers) is infuriating.

This game has lost almost all appeal. 50% of the words aren't modern English or recognizable. The developers aggressively punish you for not playing EVERY SINGLE DAY by resetting all of the home screen minigame perks like pickaxes if you don't. They constantly push buying the piggy bank with actual money, and every screen has several pop-ups that have to be closed, many of which have their paws out for money. The game is clearly turning into a push for cash and a drain on patience. 4.8 is a lie.

long time user was champion in my bracket for over a year. They added a bunch of extra animations and status screens and the app started crashing about 75% of the time. Ads are also allowed to launch you to the Google play store with touching anything, very annoying. It finally crashed permanently today. Even rebooting the phone couldn't get it working. Uninstalled, reinstalled and lost my rankings. Worthless, Uninstalling permanently.

Like game. Glitches: bonus word count is inaccurate, crediting more or less than found. Game often fails to give butterfly coins upon hatching, or starlight rewards daily. I received coins 2x after hatching 17 butterflies and starlight one day only. Some blank words with definitions don't match filled word. Doesn't have many words in dictionary, so passes bonus words players spell. Would like to be able to read word definition for last word in puzzle or bonus words.

Awful update. Game keeps crashing. I can only play one or two rounds B4 the game stalls and then crashes. Don't be fooled by them saying they provide support. These people don't help at all. Their standard answer is to send them a video of what went wrong. No instructions on how to make a video whilst you're playing nor how to attach a video file if you have it. Then they simply ignore you. Used to be one of my favorite games. Now it's too frustrating.

Can hardly play the game due to all the pop ups. You have to wait for the pop up to finish whatever animation or interact with it before you can close out just for ANOTHER popup to take its place. Rinse and repeat at least 4× just opening the app. AND THEN after you complete a level.... you guessed it! MORE POP UPS. It got too frustrating to play so had to uninstall. Mind you, this is with the ads free version THAT I PAYED FOR and still the game is unplayable. I used to love this game.

I'd give this game a 5, but it has one issue that has driven me mad since I've been playing for the last 2 years. For the most part you can't skip animations. I don't want to wait on them to finish. I want to move along. I want to play the game, not wait for the fish race thing, or for the game to pick a special letter. I want to be able to skip them. i was initially impressed but after having played 100+ levels, all I can say is it is repetitive, mundane and ultra simple basic english. It will ignore perfectly suitable words and send them to the dictionary on the left, instead of accepting it. it only likes to accept basic words like cat, bat, rat. V unsophisticated and gets v frustrating with each level. as you play more, ads keep popping up adding more to the frustration. only good for a few levels then uninstall

It's not bad. I give it 3 stars due to it being an ADs Generator more than a game. The game is super choppy due to the ADs. Every Level completed equals another AD to watch to continue. The ADs are relentless. They have the long duration ADs that only direct you to the Play Store. Most of the time, the AD takes more time to watch then the Level you just completed. You DO have an option to pay for AD removal though.

This is not for people with a readers' vocabulary. After giving this game several months, my previous review was too generous. Between the presence of several side chores that have nothing to do with words and the fact that there's only a percentage of the English language available to find (even 7 characters or less), this is more of a hodge-podge of mundanity. I might keep this if I could opt out of all of the side chores and player competitions but, my time is better spent elsewhere.

For a word game, there are a lot of annoyances. Many unskippable animations. I'm pretty sure the supposed PVP tourney is fixed and just uses bots/scripts for the top places. You play a round and the top 1 or 2 "players" automatically get a win too. Kind of unpleasant.

I was playing this game a couple hours a day (I am at level 14315). The ads were not intrusive and barely interrupted my games. Suddenly, after the last update or 2, invasive ads pop up for no reason and are impossible to get around. They are super long, intrusive, unnecessary, and have ruined this app for me. it is NOT relaxing having to wrestle with horrible ads repeatedly poppin up, I am going to look for another comparable game. I used to really enjoy this app. Now it is destroyed.

No matter what you do, the bee will get you enough times to lose a certain amount of gold. The daily quotes have worse syntax than Chinese fortune cookies. Some real words are never accepted and some that don't exist, pass without issue. Slower animations, especially when you are in a hurry to win a koi fish contest. You also compete against fake players who, somehow, progress only when you progress so you can never surpass their score. And last but not least, forget X button in ads.

At its core, this is an awesome game. I'm rating it down to 2 stars because it is currently going through too many rapid changes. It wasn't broken, and these updates do not make it better. The added color and texture to the letter tiles actively reduce visual clarity and ease of reading. Additionally, the Extra Words reward tool is so disruptive that the free clues are no longer worth the frequent pop-up interruptions. Please bring back the clean look and limit the interruptions!

Would be 5 stars, but the amount of ads and pop ups is UNREAL. I'm talking between 2 and 8 after ever single word find. I understand that free apps have ads, but the pop ups for stars, coins, standings, and thousands of other things is by FAR worse than ANY app I have ever used. Ever.

The ads are a pain. You know, the apps that make the most money don't actually use ads. People are more likely to sign up for subscriptions or pay.. when you're not forcing it, but suggesting.

I enjoyed it much more before these latest updates. Now, it feels too "busy". I find all of the pop-ups very distracting and don't like that I now have to pause in the middle of a level to claim awards for bonus words. It's all very disruptive and distracting. After playing and enjoying 20,400 levels, I now find myself ready to uninstall the app. Once again you've "fixed" something that wasn't terribly broken and now have destroyed it. It's far to "busy". After 22000+ levels, i am UNINSTALLING.

The pop-ups within the game are also too repetive, even after responding to the prompt. And don't send back a message about how your ads keep your game going. I was enjoying the game until I came up against a "phantom" player - Kaison. This player magically was playing at exactly the same times as me even 3. 00 am and their score would move by one each time I closed a game out, keeping "them" 10 points in front. I dont want to play against AI, so I'll be off now!
