I've played this game for way too many years. In the start, the app would crash constantly, and sometimes you'd lose your progress if it did. Then it was the problem of how boring it was, so I paid for God Mode and whatnot. They could have updated it, to make it better. Instead, they made two different apps, so you could play as pets. Fighter Update

Hope there’s an expansion. So far it has potential but it lacks depth. Took about an hour to become the champion. On top of that, I hardly think $30K a fight all the way up to 1st place and then jumping to $4mil for the belt seems realistic. Not sure if there are certain legality issues regarding copying the UFC format but if you’re gonna call it the UFL while not following the structure seems misleading. Not trying to be overly critical, I guess I was expecting a similar eprelim, prelim, main card format and the current in game format feels shallow in comparison. Excited to see what this update might bring in the future. P.S. The move set list is overwhelmingly unorganized. It’d be appreciated if the moves were separated into categories similar to how the skill shop is set up.

Basically an unusable app. What once was fun is now run by ads. If you wanna do anything remotely exciting you have to pay for passes that allow you to do things. For example, in one life I gambled and made about $7 million. Then the game asked me for actual money so that I could then buy things with said money. How was one supposed to play a life in this game? If they can’t buy a house, buy car , buy jewelry, literally do anything. And it’s not that the game was made this way. The game was once something that you could achieve many accomplishments and different outcomes with. But unless you’re spending upwards of $15 unlocking all the game passes, you’re basically stuck, pressing a button and watching your character grow old until they die.

This game is epitome of why most free games are terrible. If it was just five dollars flat out with no ads or in app purchases, it would be fine. But they're purposefully exploiting the unintelligent "whales" who drop hundreds and thousands of dollars on the game knowing most people aren't going to pay and will just have to get bombarded by ads. Amazing game!

I love this game a lot but wish somethings were different. When I play a vampire life I tend to have no chance of having kids and I have seen other players complain about that as well. I would love if you guys changed that plus changing the whole being to old for a job or adopting kids if your immortal and still look young. If you did change vampires having kids it would be great if some of your kids could be born vampires too or even start a life as a vampire. Another thing that would be a good addition is being able to transfer lives from devices so that you don’t lose a long legacy or a good life you enjoy. I had this game for over a year, loved it when it first came out. All the different life events that could occur was random, funny, sad, enjoyable just like real life. Recently the game has taken small strides for improving the game instead they have added a lot of new features that want your money, and even changed old free features into a money scheme. Cutting your hair? 4.99. Worst way to kill an app? Get greedy. Attempted again after about a year. Still more money added features. It doesn’t let you actually pursue your goals. It puts money walls in the way. Also after purchasing their career packs which stated all future careers were included? Turns out that wasn’t true. Because now ultimate fighter has been added and it’s a new fee as well.

Gradual Decline, Cash Grab

This game has drastically gone down hill as the years have gone on. I remember purchasing God Mode when the game first came out, you’d never have to pay for updates. When the new owners took over they reversed that. Despite me having that purchase they didn’t honor it. Then they continued to roll out new updates, additions to the game, but each one costs $5-$8. I’ve purchased a couple, one being the “job pack.” This has only existed since the new company was in place. They claimed you would have access to new career options they made in game as they rolled them out. After a couple, they stopped making them altogether. It was a waste of money and incredibly disappointing. Instead they chose to make new “packs” you can purchase but their theme has always been to make one or two so packs are genuinely useless. Or they make updates that require payment to utilize that are $7 each and have no specific category so they can continue to squeeze every penny out of their customer base. It’s just a bad game now ran by a bad company.

I love this game, I want more though, it has so much potential being wasted.

BitLife is super fun, I love it, just a couple thoughts, I wish when you’d get married, that you’d have your spouses family to interact with as well. Like sister/brother in laws, or mother/father in laws. Also, aunts and uncles, I feel like that would be really cool. For instance, when your character has siblings you get to interact with your nieces and nephews, I just wish you had aunts and uncles as well. (plus grand parents potentially) Another thing, let’s say your parents religiousness is super high, I wish the higher the religiousness, the more likely they won’t accept you for being gay or trans or something. Maybe sometimes there’s a pop up saying your parents don’t support you, and depending on how high the religiousness the stricter parents are. Maybe when it’s maxed out they kick you out and you have to pay for everything yourself, like doctors(if you’re playing in us) and just general living expenses. Just a thought though, would make it a lot more interesting. (sort of like the abandon option when you have kids) also, when you figure out youre gay(or trans) it has another option like “i’m gay, but don’t come out” like choosing not to. Furthermore, focusing on children and fertility, when you have children from a previous relationship, and marry someone new, and they also have kids from a previous relationship, your new spouses kids show up on your current characters list, but yours don’t show up on theirs, it’s very frustrating. That could be manageable, BUT, when you’re a lesbian and marry a woman as a woman, and choose artificial insemination, the child you birth is written as your wife’s STEP child, therefore, that child doesn’t show up on your wife’s list of children. It’s pretty annoying. Final note, PLEASE, if you don’t do anything else, do this paragraph. For your list of children, it’ll show the names and ages, until you reach more than 4 kids, then it just shows the number of kids you have, as someone who likes to birth a lot of kids in my game and check how old they are all the time, this is SUPER annoying, i wish the cut off was AT LEAST 10 children. With that in mind, the cut off of 4 goes on to everyone, i REALLY wish my children in the game could have more than 4 children without pressuring. For your characters kids, they can only have 4 kids naturally, i really really hate that damn cut off. That is all, sincerely, Leah. Also there’s a glitch that doesn’t let your children have children if you don’t have a niece or nephew, I HATE it, also LET MY KIDS HAVE MORE THAN 4 KIDS, pretty sure i mentioned that but im just going to keep adding complaints because they’re endless. I think about it all the time. Another idea, give parents a “Ask for a sibling” interaction when you turn like 3, would make my life easier. ADD A MIDDLE NAME OPTION PLEASSSSEEEE! Please please, i freaking beg you to let it be more likely for a spouse to use IVF when you’ve been trying for a kid to no avail, my spouses NEVER let me use IVF and i love a fertility issue story, gosh plz bro. And when I played it I was a child from Germany, every thing was at its Max until I got sick and a option called “Pray” came up, it asked me to watch a adds, ONE OF MANY ADDS. The majority of the game is blocked by a paywall. The price of said paywall is $15. That’s way too much for a simple mobile game. LOVE the game, hate that everything costs money

i am so addicted to this game and i play it all the time, even in 2026, but i find it very unfortunate that i have to pay for EVERYTHING. i still play the free version, but it gets boring after a while since i’m not able to do the really cool things such as become an actor, astronaut, landlord, and other things without buying some expansion pack or bitizenship and what not. i cant even do some of the smaller activities, like getting my hair trimmed or interacting with my school teachers or bosses. i know that every game has some kind of premium option that you have to pay for and i think that is completely fair, but i think that this game is going a little over the top with it. i could buy a bitizenship, but it still would only unlock a few extra things. this game is so amazing despite this, and i know that there are many others like me who are still stuck playing the free version who would benefit from having some more free options. i’m not by any means suggesting that the game be completely free, i’m just suggesting that you give the players a little more grace. i think it would make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

Great game, I’ve played it for years but there are a few downsides. 1. Everytime there is an ad there it’s always scamming or an attempt to hack your device when you click on it. One of the ones I experienced today was about an Apple ID breach. 2. I took a break from BitLife for a few years but before it was updated to what it currently was there was a chance to watch an ad to unlock one of the special jobs you have to pay for one life depending on your special talent. Make an update

The game is great. With all the realistic gameplay and scenarios we can encounter in the life we have. But some recommendations on updates for a better experience of all players. When serving a royal life, can we have more access to things. Or even interacting with bodyguards when heading out for public display. When living the normal life, I see the update featuring about a boxing life game pass, I question weather it should conclude in the job packs. But I thought except we have material arts shouldn’t we have boxing, and kick boxing and that type of stuff too? And in relationships, other than specifically choosing a rich person in the love section why can’t high school sweethearts be rich instead of us having to take lead? And lastly and customizing the characters I think we should choose a personality. Like shy, out going, quiet, and maybe some interest following. Being in cliques, if we are pretty why do we have to be popular? What if we are gothic? But when choosing that it says we don’t exactly fit there. I think we should have slightly more customization to our and other NPC characters, and interesting with brothers/sisters husbands/wives. And the vampire update, having vampire kids doesn’t really work. Why can’t we be born a vampire? Otherwise great game and great updates.

I love that they’ve added so many new things, and I understand that the people making this game have to find ways to make money. But you literally have to pay for everything in this game if you don’t want to live a bland life. When I used to play it I loved being able to be a part of the mafia, but now you have to pay for that too. All of the add ons and special packages aren’t even that cheap. Sure, they’re a few dollars each, but all together it is quite a hefty price. Don’t even get me started on the amount of ads in this game. When I first got on today as usual I noticed something different, not only was the fight update there, but it was very good! I played it and was like “wow but this needs a couple of improvements” the additional improvements I would love for you to ask is.. - Being able to compete in State, Nationals, Regionals, Olympics, and Golden Glove. all in high school. - To get famous from it / have a title next to your name. 7 years and still no pet update

I’ve been playing BitLife for years, and ever since pets were first added, many players, myself included, have been asking for the ability to breed them. The zoo expansion introduced animal breeding mechanics, which is a great addition, but it would also be amazing to have the option to become a dog breeder or run a pet breeding business outside of the zoo system.

How come my Kids don’t take their Kids to the doctor?

It doesn’t make sense I have kids take care of them by taking them to the doctor paying for college… they start to have kids so I become a grandparent.. than all of a sudden my grandkid die from scarlet fever something that’s curable??? Like make that make sense??? Bc my kid catches scarlet fever I take them to the doctor to get cured but when their kid catches scarlet fever they just die???? I don’t like that. Also if I’m buying my kid a pet why doesn’t that responsibility falls on the kid?? Why is it my job to take care of the pet??? Why when my wife gets sick I can’t tell her to go to the doctors?? Devs & Marketers

The game itself is great plenty of stuff to do with plenty scenarios. Where the game takes a huge turn is its developers and marketing team. I’ve seen posts where developers talk about how certain things are not that simple to create when it’s technically already in game. For example I’ve seen people ask for more sports careers and even on YouTube their page posted how it’s not that simple when all you have to do is use the same build as the other sports just change the display. The marketers announce update release with little to no real information if you go to their instagram their comments are flooded with people tired of the vague marketing and begging for either a release date or just plain and simple to stop posting about it and drop it. Ultimate fighter mode was scheduled for 6/10 at 10am and they didn’t bother to post about how there’s going to be a delay or any type of news at all everyone has just been confused because the update did not release when they said it would. They need to consider hiring a brand new marketing team and hiring developers who actually want to develop the game in big and little ways.

Hate/love this app

I hate/love this app. I put hate first because the game is fun, but between the several payrolls, even those that should be covered by other fees paid, and the fact that they just released a new feature without fixing voiceover capability for the hundreds of wind users, who wished to play their game again, I’ve gotten extremely frustrated with BitLife. Hopefully in the future, things will change, but I can’t help but feel like I’ve been transported five years in the past when a similar decision was made to upgrade game content instead of upgrading game accessibility. Not very happy.

Less of a life sim and more of a fantasy.

I would love for this game to be a heavily realistic life simulator where you can experience all aspects of your life, but in my experience, it leans heavily towards being overly-sexual. It seems to rely on this a lot, detracting from what could be an actual good life simulator game. Also, many options are locked behind a paywall, and the current version of the game feels too limited to actually do anything fun. Playing your life feels very boring and most of the options are repetitive or underdeveloped. Overall, the game falls flat because it is essentially hands you boring and pay to play gameplay but tries to keep you hooked by throwing in sexual elements to grab your attention.
